A Contemporary art gallery founded in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Peter Van Brabson and Bonnie Brabson featuring works by a diverse group of new and emerging national and international artists creating contemporary art expressions from personal experiences related to social and psychological perspectives, the urban environment, and other aspects of contemporary global culture. The gallery engages in dialogue with the local and international community. The galleries artists work in a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums also film and digital media arts. Works by artists: David Monson, Gregory J. Rose, Samuel Bjorgum, Brian Mark, Kyle Fokken, Nicholas Harper, Vincent Cofeen, Ernest Miller, and John Eric Hawkins and many more.

Our mission is to present artwork that engages with the viewer from a contemporary perspective, conveying ideas from modernism and post-modernism in today's global society.

Our Business

We were the only gallery from Minnesota in 2008 to exhibit artists works at the Bridge Art Fair one of the satelite art fairs taking place during Art Basel Miami. We strive to promote our artists to collectors and Museums. We established the gallery to provide opportunities for artists to market their work on a national and international platform provided by participation in the art fairs. We are integrated with a network of galleries and international arts professionals.

Who We Are

We both are working artists as well as working in the gallery business since 1997 when we had our first gallery space in Indiana. Peter studied art for three years at the University of Tennesse, received a Bachelors degree in Studio Arts and Rhetoric from the University of Minnesota, did post-graduate work in Arts Management for a year at Columbia College in Chicago and currently is finishing a Masters in Arts Management from the University of Minnesota.

Bonnie received an interdiciplinary Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, she is currently finishing a Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling at the Adler Graduate School. She is also an Arts Activist working on a variety of social issues related to improving and enriching the quality of life through the arts.
